The MyKay is ideal if you want to get off to a good start right away, even if your baby is still very tiny or premature. This half-buckle baby carrier (half-tie, half-click) features a clip on the waistband, but the shoulder straps are tied—combining the best of a baby carrier with the best of a wrap. This MyKay is height-adjustable by rolling the waistband. This ensures that the top of the carrier sits precisely at your baby’s neck, allowing you to carry them ergonomically. The width can be adjusted by tucking the fabric between the legs tighter, so the carrier supports your baby from the back of one knee to the back of the other, and the lower legs dangle relaxed downward. The MyKay shoulder straps go under your armpits, rather than over your shoulders as with the mei tai. This provides safe horizontal neck support, ideal for a newborn. Based on the width and height of the MyKay, it can be used up to size 74.
This Hydrophilic fabric is light, comfortable and airy in warmer weather.

The height of the back panel is up to 36 cm. This can be reduced by rolling up the waistband. (1x rolled up: height 30 cm.)
The width of the baby carrier, for an ergonomic M-position with support from hollow of knee to hollow of knee, is 32 cm maximum. (infinitely narrow by pushing fabric together to min. 15cm)
