What is the difference between a regular sling and a woven sling?

A regular sling - usually stretchy - is perfect for the first few months. You tie it in advance, slide your baby in and you're done. It feels soft, supple and gives a sense of security. Ideal for newborn babies and those just starting to carry.

A woven sling, on the other hand, is a bit firmer and offers more support. You tie it every time, but this allows for more precise adjustments and different carrying positions. You carry heavier babies comfortably and the weight is better distributed over your body. Do you want to carry longer or alternate between belly, hip and back? Then a woven sling is your ideal match.

How do you wear a woven sling?

Tying a woven sling may seem complicated, but with a little practice it becomes a familiar ritual. You begin by preparing the sling so that it falls smoothly around your body. Then you gently lower your baby into the sling, tying the fabric tightly and securely around you. The sling fits perfectly, as if it was made just for you.

What size fits you

Our woven slings are available in size 6 (4 meters 70) and size 7 (5 meters 20). Which size fits you depends on your clothing size and stature. Do you carry with your partner? Then choose the size that fits the largest carrier.

By the way, a longer sling is not a problem. You just have a little more fabric left over, which falls elegantly down or wraps extra around your waist. In our size chart you can see at a glance which size is right for you.

Hydrophilic and wonderfully airy

Our woven slings come in a variety of fabrics, but the hydrophilic cotton version is ideal for warmer days or if you or your baby get hot easily. This airy fabric feels soft to the skin, breathes well and gets even nicer with each wash.
