Our stretchy and woven slings and the MyKay are most ideal for newborn babies. In our range we also have the ClickCarrier Classic, Click Carrier Deluxe and the Meitai. These baby carriers can be sized down to fit newborn babies as well.
But ... this is not always the most ideal solution.
Compare it to pants, they may fit perfectly at size 80, but at size 56 they are obviously too big. In the beginning you will have to tighten these pants with a belt and roll them up a lot. It can.... but does it fit quite nicely? If you still really want to use these pants, then make concessions and accept this.
The most ideal would be a baby carrier that fits every size your child is in, but that is obviously not a viable option. For this reason, we have made our baby carriers so that they can be reduced in size for a newborn. This is fine, but does not always fit perfectly during the first period. If you don't want to make concessions, then choose a different baby carrier during the first few weeks. This can be, for example, a sling or a MyKay. These baby carriers fit newborns perfectly.
In conclusion, our baby carrier can be made to fit a newborn, but it is not always the prettiest solution.
