A sling may seem complicated at first glance, but trust us: after a few practice sessions, you will automatically become a pro at tying it. Especially with a stretchy sling, such as the ByKay Stretchy Deluxe or Stretchy Classic, you can learn to carry comfortably and safely. You have your hands free and your baby is always close by.
Looking for clear instructions on how to tie your stretchy sling? Below you will find step-by-step instructions, helpful tips and instructional videos. This way you can practice and build confidence when carrying your child in the Stretchy Wrap.

1. Label in the middle
Hold the sling with the label in the middle in front of you and wrinkle the fabric up with two hands. This makes it easier to wrap the sling around you.
2. Cross on your back
Cross the fabric behind your back and bring the two ends back forward over your shoulders. Spread the fabric well to prevent the cloth from twisting or cutting into your shoulders.

3. Under the belly band
Grasp both straps and pull them down, under the belly band. This provides more firmness and support for your baby.

4. Tighten
Pull the cloth tight by pulling evenly on the fabric, making sure the fabric fits tightly around you. A good tight base makes for ergonomic wearing.
5. Knot on your back
Cross the straps at navel height and bring them to your back. Make a double knot on your back so the sling is secure.

6. On knot for
Is there enough length left? Then you can also fold the ties back to the front and make a double knot there.

7. Belly Strap Down
Pull the belly strap down slightly to create enough space to place your baby in the cloth.
8. Supporting baby
Place your baby against your chest and support him or her well. Pull the shoulder straps over your baby's legs without pulling on them.

9. Spread fabric
Spread the lower shoulder strap from hollow of knee to hollow of knee and over your baby's shoulders. Repeat with the upper shoulder strap. This will support your baby fully and ergonomically.

10. Belly strap over legs
Get the belly strap over both legs to provide extra support.
11. Neck support
Pull the top half of the belly band up to your baby's neck for proper neck support.

12. Flip shoulder straps
This last step is optional and designed to create even more comfort for you and your child. Flip the shoulder straps so that your child's face is completely free.
