This Mei Tai requires both the belly strap and shoulder straps to be knotted. If you do not want to have to tie the belly band, choose a "half buckle".
The Mei Tai combines the best of everything together, in one baby carrier: the ease of use and speed of a baby carrier with the comfort and security of a sling (both the shoulder straps and belly band of cloth are knotted). The Mei Tai can be adjusted in height by rolling over the belly band. By doing so, you make sure that the top of the baby carrier reaches exactly into your baby's neck, so that you carry ergonomically. For older children, it is no problem if their shoulders and/or arms protrude above the baby carrier, allowing them a little more freedom of movement. The width of the baby carrier can be adjusted by narrowing it between the legs with the flap at the knees. This is done by securing the narrowest position with the button so that the baby carrier supports your baby from hollow of knee to hollow of knee and the lower legs dangle down relaxed. The shoulder straps can be spread wide for greater comfort, but can also be transformed into soft carrier straps using the included shoulder pads. The sleep hood provides protection from weather or other stimuli, but can also be rolled up to make a neck roll. You can also carry your child on your back from the time he or she can sit independently, which is usually between 6 and 8 months. Based on the width and height of the Mei Tai Deluxe, this baby carrier can be used up to pant size 98.

The Mei Tai Deluxe can be used from pant size 50 (but a perfect fit from size 62) to pant size 98.
The height of the back panel is up to 40 cm. This can be reduced by rolling up the belly band. (1x rolled up: height 32 cm, 2x rolled up: height 28 cm).
The width of the baby carrier, for an ergonomic M position with support from hollow of knee to hollow of knee, is maximum 42cm. (Can be narrowed to 26cm with flaps and buttons).
