The Woven Wrap is nice and sturdy and provides plenty of support for your baby, toddler and preschooler. Because you can use this woven wrap even for premature babies, it is a long-term investment. In the beginning you carry your baby snugly on your belly and possibly hip and when it can sit independently even on your back!
In our detailed (video) instruction you will see how to prepare a woven sling, and then let your baby sink into it. Then you tie the supple fabric around your baby like a cocoon until he is snug against you and relaxes in your familiar scent and heartbeat.
A baby sling always fits seamlessly to your child's size. You choose your sling size based on your own stature and clothing size. Check the size chart to see if size 5 fits you. Are you not carrying alone? Then check which size fits the largest person. A sling that is too long is no big deal, you just have a little more fabric "left over" (which either falls into a longer tail or you have more fabric around your waist). You have your hands free with this non-stretchy sling from day one until about four years of age.
