The Ringsling is the perfect baby carrier if you love convenience and speed. This short baby wrap has 2 aluminum rings through which the flexible fabric is threaded. In this way, you can effortlessly and continuously adjust the baby carrier to the right size. The ringsling is very easy to put over your head so that the fabric rests on your shoulder, with your baby sitting on your opposite hip. Then just tighten the wrap a bit more and you are ready to go! The Ringsling is light and compact, making it very easy to take with you on trips or in your bike bag. It's also very convenient for a toddler who wants to be carried occasionally, hop on, hop off!
This muslin fabric is lightweight, comfortable, and breathable in warmer weather.
- Make sure the fabric is not twisted through the rings, but neatly arranged, as this will make tightening easier.
- Place the rings just past your shoulder when draping the ringsling, so that after placing your baby and tightening the ringsling, the rings are at the level of your clavicle.
- Tighten the fabric snugly at the neck; this horizontal band provides neck support. If your baby is still very small, you can create a neck roll by rolling a burp cloth in the fabric.
- You can spread the shoulder band wide over your shoulder for good weight distribution.
- Ensure that your baby’s back has a natural curve (with the hips tilted towards you) and that the fabric is well positioned in the knee pits.
- Do not cover the head with the ringsling; always ensure there is enough fresh air.
- Because a ringsling is an asymmetrical baby carrier, it can be a bit heavier on your shoulder, so switch sides regularly.
- Use one ringsling on each side to carry two children at the same time, for example, twins.
